How does my star rating system work?
I like to keep my rating system specific, and once you know how it works, it’s quite simple.
Characters in the book were amazing! – 2 Characters in the book were good. – 1 Characters in the book weren’t good. – 0
Plot of the book was amazing! – 2 Plot of the book was good. – 1 Plot of the book wasn’t good. – 0
Writing style of the author in this book was good! – 1 Writing style of the author in this book was alright. – 0
The total is out of 5.
If a book has that extra WOW factor (the kind that makes you want to hug the book and the author), then I add an extra 2 points(or 1, depending on how much WOW there was), but the total will remain 5 (making the final rating an improper fraction).
I hope that makes sense. Feel free to ask me if it doesn’t!
